Digital Personal Data
We collect certain information automatically as you navigate and use our Site. This includes your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed on our Site or immediately prior to visiting our Site, and dates and times of your Site visits. This information is collected and used mainly to generate aggregate, statistical information, and to facilitate Site operation, system administration and computer forensics investigations. Information Collected By Cookies And Related Technologies
We use “cookies” and related technologies to collect certain information when you visit our Site in order to provide a more convenient experience for you. We do not collect your personal information to track your online activities on our Site or any third party website or digital services over time.
What is a cookie? A cookie is a small data file that is placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used in order to make websites work or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information. A cookie may have unique identifiers and reside, among other places, on your device, in emails we send to you, and on the Site.
Cookies set by SUEZ are called “first-party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than SUEZ are called “third-party cookies.” Third-party cookies enable features or functionality provided by third parties in connection with our Site, for example, advertising, interactive content, and analytics. The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your device both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.
We may use other technologies similar to cookies such as web beacons, which are sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs". These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognize when someone has visited our Site or opened an email that we have sent them. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.
One third-party service we use is Google Analytics, which is a service provided by Google. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of our Site and may share this data with other Google services. You can learn more about Google’s privacy practices by visiting http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
