UNITED WATER RAHWAY LAUNCHES WEB SITE HARRINGTON PARK, NJ, January 7, 2003 – United Water Rahway, which provides water services to about 26,500 people in Rahway, announced the launch of its web site at www.unitedwater.com/uwrw. The site offers information on the utility’s operations and the public-private partnership formed between the city and the parent company, United Water Resources. The launching of the website is one of many customer service initiatives United Water offered under its contract to manage and operate the Rahway facility. Robert Iacullo, United Water president, said, “Our web site enables our customers to learn more about our capabilities, the service we offer and our community relations efforts.” Visitors to www.unitedwater.com/uwrw can access the annual Consumer Confidence report, a document mandated by the federal government that provides the utility’s water quality data. General information about water treatment is provided under the Water Supply link, which also features animated schematics that outline the process. The company’s most recent press releases are contained on the site’s news page.
