OUR CUSTOMER ADVISORY PANEL United Water has initiated customer advisory panels in Rockland County and soon to be Westchester Counties that consists of residents from our service territories. The panel provides input on various programs under development by United Water as well as ways to better implement customer service initiatives. Members have discussed water quality issues, provided input on the development of the state mandated customer confidence report and discussed their interest in potential customer service initiatives that could be offered to them as United Water customers. In addition, members have taken trips to our treatment plant in Rockland County to see firsthand the different phases of the treatment process. They also have visited the xeriscape garden located there. Members are encouraged to discuss topics of interest to them or issues brought to their attention by other customers. Meetings for the panel are held quarterly at locations in each respective area. United Water is always looking for new panel members. We look forward to fresh ideas that will further enhance the many programs and information we continue to offer to our customers. United Water realizes that we must maintain an open relationship with our customers. Their input provides information for United Water staff to better serve the community.
