United Water Lambertville is now known as United Water New Jersey.

The Lambertville operation supplies water for residents of Lambertville and a portion of West Amwell Township.

Your water supply comes from a spring-fed, earthen surface water reservoir with a total capacity of about 40 million gallons. A supplemental source water supply is also available from the Delaware and Raritan Canal during emergency or drought conditions. Our water treatment process consists of chlorine dioxide, alum, soda ash for pH adjustment, clarification, rapid sand filtration and post chlorination.

United Water has one supply and production facility which is located east of downtown Lambertville. Finished water is stored in a 50,000-gallon clearwell at this location. Our distribution system, used to deliver treated water to your homes, consists of about 13 miles of mains ranging in size from 1 inch to 12 inches in diameter. We also have three ground storage tanks with a combined capacity of nearly one million gallons.

Online Bill Payment
You can pay your bill online by credit card through Western Union Speedpay. There is a $5 convenience fee associated with this service.

By telephone:
To pay your bill using credit card or check by phone, call our customer service center. A convenience fee applies for this service.

By direct debit:
E-Pay is our free direct payment program that automatically deducts your bill payment from your bank account. Contact us for an application form, or download the form from our website.

For your convenience, a return envelope accompanies each billing statement and should be used to make payments by mail. Be sure to include your bill stub and payment, and remember to write your 14-digit account number on your check. If you misplace your payment envelope, please mail your payment to:

If you pay your bill online through your bank, please make sure you use our correct payment address, as noted above and remember to include your 14-digit account number. With our online web payment option, you can make a payment using your checking, savings or credit card account. You can log on any time (day or night) to pay your water bill online at www.unitedwater.com and click on Western Union’s Speedpay icon.

Payment Arrangements:
If we have underestimated your billing and then send you an actual bill that is at least 25 percent higher, we will allow you to pay the excess amount in equal installments over the same length of time that we estimated your usage. Should you have difficulty paying your bill for other reasons, please contact us. We may be able to arrange a financial payment schedule.
