United Water Arkansas

At United Water Arkansas our goal is to provide you with water that meets or surpasses all the standards for safe drinking water. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) set these health and safety standards. Our United Water team works hard to provide you and your family with top quality water and premier service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

United Water uses 13 non-surface artesian wells from Sparta Sands Aquifer as the source of supply for Pine Bluff. The wells range in depth from 884 feet to 907 feet. We have three treatment facilities with a combined production capacity of 24 million gallons per day. All three facilities use a process of pre-chlorination, aeration, filtration, and post-chlorination to treat the water. Chemicals added at all three treatment facilities include hydrofluosilic acid (fluoride to improve dental health), zinc-orthophosphate (a corrosion inhibitor to improve water quality), and chlorine (to ensure disinfection).
