United Water today announced the promotion of Rick Pfleiderer to Director of Operations for United Water Toms River, replacing Nadine Leslie, who is now Director of Audit for the company.
In his new position, Pfleiderer will be responsible for overseeing United Water Toms River, which serves the communities of Toms River, Berkeley, and South Toms River. Pfleiderer will also manage the company’s water operations in Lambertville, Manalapan and the Princeton Meadows Wastewater Treatment Plant in Plainsboro.

A Native of New Jersey, Pfleiderer has been with United Water for 15 years in jobs of increasing responsibility. He possesses extensive experience in service reliability, system operations, environmental compliance as well as excellent client, customer and labor relations.
Pfleiderer currently holds advanced operator licenses issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in water and wastewater. He is a member of both the American Water Works Association and the South Jersey Water Professionals. Pfleiderer received his MBA Degree from the University of Phoenix and his Bachelor of Science Degree from Stockton State College.
