Wakefield, RI, Aug 08, 2008, 9:00 AMUnited Water Rhode Island customers should have already received a mailed copy of the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) on drinking water quality. Were pleased to advise our customers that our water continues to meet or exceed all state and federal regulations for safe drinking water, said Stanley Knox, Manager. The report is required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH). We believe this CCR is an important tool in educating our customers about the excellent quality of their tap water. To receive a copy of the United Water Rhode Island Consumer Confidence Report, call 401.789.0271. Copies of the report can also be downloaded via the Internet at www.unitedwater.com.
