United Water New York officials are requesting customers to conserve water and cut back on outdoor usage during the continuing hot, dry summer. Public Service Commission Grants United Water New York Rate IncreaseUnited Water officials announced today that the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) has approved a three-year rate plan for residential and commercial customers of United Water New York in Rockland and Orange Counties. The typical residential customer, using an average of 21,000 gallons of water per quarter, will see an average bill increase of $4.06 a month or approximately 13.5 cents per day in the first year of the plan, ending in a total of $12.97 per month or 43 cents per day in the third year.
