UNITED WATER NEW JERSEY TO REDEEM PREFERRED STOCK

United Water officials announced today that the company plans to redeem the shares of United Water New Jersey Cumulative Preferred Stock on January 31, 2011.

United Water New Jersey will redeem all 30,000 of its 4.50% Cumulative Preferred Stock shares and all 60,000 of its 4.55% Cumulative Preferred Stock shares. These redemptions will be at par plus a .5% redemption premium.
