UNITED WATER NEW JERSEY FILES FOR RATE RELIEF WITH NJBPU

United Water New Jersey today filed an application for rate relief with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU).  The company is seeking to raise an additional $30 million in revenues to cover the costs associated with necessary infrastructure improvements and increased expenses to provide safe and reliable water service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The company provides water service to approximately 800,000 people throughout Bergen, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Passaic and Sussex counties.
