NJ BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES GRANTS UNITED WATER NEW JERSEY RATE RELIEF
United Water officials announced today that the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities has approved a rate adjustment for residential and commercial customers of United Water New Jersey in Bergen, Hudson, Sussex, Morris, Passaic and Hunterdon counties. The Board’s decision follows a public statement hearing and a thorough eight month review of the company’s application. The typical residential customer, using an average of 7,480 gallons of water per month, will see an average bill increase of $3.17 a month or approximately 11 cents per day. New rates are effective beginning today.
