Innovation & Dependability

United Water brings to Indianapolis world class experience in providing safe and reliable wastewater services. Protecting and enhancing the area’s waterways is of utmost importance to us.

From our global network for research, development, management, and service, we can apply the locally appropriate and effective technologies and strategies to ensure public health and community prosperity.

We consistently exceed national and local quality standards for wastewater treatment. That means cleaner rivers and streams for Indianapolis.

Here are examples of technology at work at United Water Indianapolis.

Wet Weather Command Center

The Wet Weather Command Center provides 24 hour monitoring and watch/warning notification to United Water plant operations. This helps us better manage our plants and minimize the effect on sewer collection systems and sewer backups.

Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System

Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition is an advanced computer system that monitors and controls plant operations. This new SCADA system will provide us with real time data and enable us to more effectively manage complex plant and collection system operations.
