United Water supports educational programs that further environmental goals and help young people shape their futures.

We believe that the best way to sustain our water resources for future generations is to work with teachers and students in the schools—today.

For 16 years, we have mentored more than 300 Arlington High School students through an innovative Adopt-A-School program and internship program. Learn more about Adopt-A-School.

Plant Tours

We offer free tours of our Belmont Treatment Plant located at 2700 South Belmont Avenue in Indianapolis. Students and residents can see first hand how we operate and maintain Indianapolis' advanced wastewater treatment facilities, which have a combined average daily flow of 193 million gallons per day.

Over 8,000 people have toured our Belmont facility and can be tailored to middle and high schools, colleges and universities, civic and community groups and environmental groups.
