United Water has a strong history of supporting education.
Adopt-A-School is only one of the avenues we have used to demonstrate that commitment. By focusing on particular schools, we can provide better one-on-one mentoring for students.
Adopting a school puts our employees directly into the schools and in touch with students who can benefit from their expertise, especially in the fields of science and the environment.
United Water is excited to embark upon its 18th consecutive year as a partner with Arlington Community High School through our summer internship program. This internship is offered to select Arlington Community High School juniors, seniors, and recent graduates.
Since its inception in 1994, over 350 students have received hands on training in the areas of office administration, collections, engineering, supply chain management, laboratory, maintenance, and operations. Our internships are more than a summer jobs. The students receive valuable employment skills and information necessary to make future career and educational decisions.
