United Water, one of the leading providers of water and wastewater services in the nation, today announced it had reached agreement with the City of East Providence, RI, for a 10-year, design-build-operate (DBO) contract for the city’s wastewater collection and treatment facilities, which provide service to roughly two-thirds of East Providence’s 50,000 residents.
The St. Luke’s Health Foundation will receive a $1,500 donation in honor of Gary Richter, an employee at United Water Idaho. Richter is a recipient of the company’s annual “Care to Share” Award, which recognizes United Water employees for their community service.
United Water Idaho today filed for rate relief with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) requesting a $4.37 per month or 15 cents per day increase in rates for a typical residential customer.
