Building Communities

“You folks are a godsend in the giving back avenue.”
— Bertram Pickell, American Cancer Society, San Antonio, TX

We work to meet specific needs in the communities we serve whether that involves adopting a school, adopting a beach, or volunteering at a local non-profit organization.

Clean water and dependable wastewater services are vitally important — but we are proud to make a bigger difference in the towns and cities where we live and work.

You can find us volunteering from coast to coast:

  • Planting trees along urban streets in Camden, NJ
  • Serving meals to those in need in Harrisburg, PA
  • Raking leaves for senior citizens in Boise, ID
  • Cleaning up the beach in El Segundo, CA

We also serve in leadership positions for hospitals, special needs agencies, emergency services, and disaster relief organizations.

We are your community partners.

Badges for Baseball

What is Badges for Baseball?
An exciting partnership with the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, Badges for Baseball was created as a juvenile crime prevention initiative. We work to enhance the relationship between law enforcement and kids in underserved communities across the country using baseball as the hook. Law enforcement officers and United Water volunteers become the coaches, teaching important lessons about teamwork, communication, respect, and leadership that can be used both on and off the field.
